2025 Color Our World Mini Art Show
Important Dates:
- Mini Art Show: Tuesday, July 1st – Friday, July 25th, 2025
- Submission Dates: Monday, June 2nd – Monday, June 30th*
- The last day to submit artwork(s) is Monday, June 30th at 4:59 pm; submissions will not be accepted after June 30th
- Judging for the 7 winners will be Tuesday, July 1st – Saturday, July 5th
- Winners will be announced on Monday, July 7th
- People’s Choice will be announced on Monday, July 21st
- All artwork must be picked up no later than Thursday, July 31st @ 7:59 pm.
Art Contest Rules:
- Four Age Groups: 2-5, 6-10, 11-17, 18+Submissions must be individual work. If assistance is needed, family members can help, but the majority work must be completed by the participant(s) only.
- NO obscene content. Must be family-friendly, original artwork.
- Participants will be provided a 4x4 canvas (more than one if entering other categories.
- Participants must provide their own picture frame for the Photography category.*
- Participants will fill out a form, selecting one or more categories. They do not have to participate in all of them.

Categories:
Category #1:
- Drawing Participants may only use graphite sketching pencils, charcoal pencils, colored pencils, markers, crayons or oil pastels.
Category #2:
- Painting Participants may use watercolor paints, acrylic paints or tempera paints.
Category #3:
- Fashion (Fiber Art)Participants may use buttons, denim patches, fabric patches, yarn, beads, ribbons & other embellishments.
Category #4:
- Photography Participants may take photos of family, friends, a headshot, landscapes, etc.Photos need to be printed; can be no bigger than a 4x6*
Category #5:
- 3D Art Participants may use 3D puff paint, wire-wrapping, Play-Doh, Air-Dry Clay, or Modeling Clay.
- 3D printing will NOT be accepted as an option.
Category #6:
- Silhouettes Participants may use their favorite silhouette design (stars, cats, trees, etc.)
- Participants may use any style of art from the five previous categories (drawing, painting, fiber art, photography & 3D.)
Winner Selection
- One winner from each category & one overall winner out of each of the six categories.
